Some of the regions release the admit card only five days before the exam date.  Since the Central Region has released the application status for the SSC GD 2021 exam, the other regions will also follow the suit. The SSC Central Region was the first region to issue the SSC GD application status for the candidates. SSC GD 2021 Exam will be conducted from November 16 to December 15. Staff Selection Commission released the Constable (General Duty) 2021 exam dates on September 7. The SSC GD Exam 2021 will be conducted online as the Computer Based Exam (CBE). The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts at the designated exam centres across the nation.

SSC Constable GD 2021 notification was released online @ssc.nic.in on July 17. SSC GD 2021 registration and application link was also activated after the release of the official notification. What is SSC Constable (GD)?

SSC Constable (General Duty) is a popular exam among candidates because of its eligibility criteria, salary and the pride associated with working in the security forces. SSC GD 2021 Eligibility

SSC GD Constable eligibility criteria contribute to the higher number of applications in the exam because the educational requirement is Matric/High School only. The SSC GD notification prescribes all the conditions of eligibility criteria for the SSC GD exam. The SSC GD Eligibility criteria are defined for the candidates in terms of the following components.


Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.

Age limit: Candidates should be aged between 18 and 23 years.

Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. Candidates appearing for their qualifying examination (Class 10) are not eligible for the exam.

SSC GD 2021 Vacancies

The number of vacancies in the SC GD 2021 exam was not as per the expectations of the candidates and the numbers are less than the previous years. In the previous notification, more than 60,000 vacancies were notified.


SSC GD 2021 Exam Pattern

The SSC GD exam pattern is notified in the official notification. The first stage of the SSC GD exam is a Computer Based Exam, conducted online at the designated exam centres. The candidates are required to score maximum marks here because the marks secured at this stage will be considered for the SSC GD Result. Candidates need to solve 100 questions in 90 minutes. SSC GD 2021 Selection Process

SSC GD selection process starts with the release of notification. The official SSC GD notification is the first official information about the number of vacancies, exam dates, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus and other important information. The candidates must read the SSC GD Constable notification to understand all the eligibility conditions given in the official notification.



Step 1: SSC GD 2021 Application

The first and foremost step of the recruitment process is filling SSC GD Constable application form. Candidates need to fill the application form online on the official website of SSC. Step 2: SSC GD admit card

SSC GD Constable admit card is issued at least two to three weeks before the exam. Step 3: SSC GD Computer Based Exam (CBE)

SSC GD 2021 CBE will be conducted from November 16 to December 15 at the designated exam centres across the nation. The test carries 100 objective-type questions of 100 marks. The question paper is divided into four parts - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. The difficulty level of questions is of matriculation level.


Step 4: SSC GD PET/PST

Based on the performance of CBE, candidates are shortlisted for physical tests such as PET and PST. The tests are conducted at various centres finalised by the recruiting body such as CAPFs.


Step 5: SSC GD Medical Exam

Candidates who qualify PET/PST exam then finally need to appear for the Detailed Medical Examination and in some cases Review Medical Examination, conducted by Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).


Step 6: SSC GD result

SSC GD result along with force allocation is released by Staff Selection Commission on its official website. SSC GD Result PDF is released online only and the candidates need to check their results by searching their roll number in the official result pdf. The final result released by the commission is based on the performance of candidates in CBE.The PET, PST, DME, RME are only qualifying in nature.
